Public art

I love this great image of a telegraph pole which has been used for years to advertise garage sales in a neighborhood in the States.

I found this great image late last night and can't remember where so apologies to the owner for not giving you a mention.

You should enlarge the image to see the amazing formation of the nails.

Each nail signify 's a garage sale. What a great place to live !

I will be running a series of photo's like this which show art created by the public, perhaps without their realising it.

Paul Smith Typewriter Artist

Typewriter art

This picture was been made using only the keys on a
a typewriter. The amazing artist was Mr Paul Smith who
sadly passed away on June 25th 2007. Despite suffering
from severe cerebral palsy and receiving no education
Paul still had an amazing life. Paul was a master chess
player as well as a great artist. Almost all his work was
made using only @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _
We will be showing pauls work over the next few weeks
including his amazing early pieces from the 1940's .
You can watch this amazing documentary about Paul's
incredible ability.
