I once admired this photograph at an exhibition at the
photographers gallery in London. It's been in my subconscious
for many years. I love the colours of the pumpkins
and the flames, and the fireman checking the pumpkins seemingly
oblivious to the destruction of the house behind.

Graffiti Taxonomy

graffiti taxonomy is a project done by fi5e, an NYC-based
digital media artist and graffiti artist. Fi5e has isolatd letters from
graffiti tags from around the city -- the 'A' is from tags from Harlem,
while the 'S' is from tags from the Lower East Side --
and has reproduced them in similar scales in order to show the
diversity of styles.

Victorian Pine Dresser

I found this gorgeous Scottish dresser
last week. It is completely untouched
with the original keys and beautiful glass
handles. It's so nice to find a piece with
the original paintwork still intact. The
glass is original too , complete with authentic
ripples. It dates from around 1830-1850.
The gold coach lines are faintly visible under
the crackled , cobalt glaze. Unfortunately we
don't have room for it in our flat. I will truly
regret having to sell this. You can buy it here
